yeah- i’m pretty sure you can. i’ve been recompiling the wireless drivers for my laptop trying to get it to work with standby mode, but i think i’ve screwed them up so much that i’ll just grab a new install. i’m glad to hear you’re sucking from the linux teat!
I’m posting from the RC now. I installed it to dual boot with vista on my personal laptop ( i needed windows for work and couldn’t justify the coin for a mac or i’d have one). It is awesome. My wireless worked. My laptop volume controls work. And I’m really loving the os so far. Very nice. I was going to try fedora 8, but since it won’t matter which i use for my next job ( knock on wood) I am going with U.
Hey,
I’m looking forward to it too. Can you upgrade from the RC? I’d like to install it now.
